As Coronavirus infections and deaths keep on rising in the UK and all around the world, British folks have been standing at their doorways, their home windows, on balconies in high-rises, to clap, cheer for the people working on the frontline of the battle against coronavirus.
The movement, which began with a hashtag has turned out to be a rallying point for showing appreciation by folks throughout the nation, from those on the frontline to the folks self-isolating at their residence, to come together and show gratitude and appreciation.
Even celebrities have been part of it and recently Emilia Clarke was snapped while she was enthusiastically clapping for the healthcare workers. The Game Of Thrones actress was in pyjamas while holding her dog as a topless friend bounced round in her backyard last week.
Emilia laughed and whistled at her good friend, who seemed in nice spirits, leaping about in simply his shorts.
While they were enthusiastically cheering, she carefully managed to stop them from getting locked out of their home in Hampstead, North London, by keeping an eye on the doorknob.
Recently Emilia was snapped as she ventured out for grocery shopping in a £2,700 Fendi bomber jacket and £500 Saint Laurent Blake suede ankle boots while sporting her woollen hat, matching brown leather-based gloves and black face-mask.
Emilia break up with her boyfriend, American movie director, Charlie McDowell, 36, in 2019, after being in a relationship since 2018. Speaking to The Times, she spoke about her love life, and mentioned:
“I am single right now. Dating in this industry is interesting. I have a lot of anecdotes, a lot of stuff I can say at a fun dinner.” She added: “I was dating actors but I’m not now.”
