Fans will get to see plenty of DC and Marvel movies with female leads in the next couple of years. Obviously, there will not be a crossover between the superheroines of the two different universes, but a new piece of fanart does just that with the two most popular women in their respective universes.
A fan posted an awesome drawing of Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel crossing paths.

I'm tired of the nonsensical hate i see everyday on social media, we should be glad these movies are being made not fighting each other verbally over them..that being said i hope Thanos kicks her arse😆 #wonderwoman1984 #captainmarvel #dccomics #marvelcomics #digitalart #digitalpainting #artwork #galgadot #brielarson #avengers4
The fanart has gathered plenty of attention, with fans supporting the idea of seeing the two joining forces.
“They’re both great characters and I love them both (Captain Marvel slightly more but that’s just me),” one user commented. Another user said, “Preach!! This looks amazing btw.”
The fanart is a refreshing post amidst the online fights that have been pitting the two heroines against each other.
Damnit people, can we quit with the stupid Captain Marvel vs Wonder Woman movie debate.
Wonder Woman was great and so will Captain Marvel

One person who will not engage in the fight is Captain Marvel screenwriter Geneva Robertson-Dworet. While the film will be Marvel Studios’ first female-led solo movie, it won’t try to occupy the same space and break the glass ceiling that Wonder Woman did when it was released last year.
“Certainly we were writing after Wonder Woman had come out,” Robertson-Dworet said. “We already saw one example of what a superheroine looked like on screen. So we wanted to carve our own path and make sure we weren’t retreading the same territory, and showing all facets of what women are capable of.”
