Mark Ruffalo surprises Aquaman’s Jason Momoa with a mask at NYCC

There was another superhero crossover at the 2018 New York Comic Con. However, it wasn’t in one of the new trailers that appeared at the celebration or any new comic series revealed at a panel.

Rather, Jason Momoa — who was there to for the promotion of Aquaman and its new trailer — amazed fans by posing for photographs with none other than Mark Ruffalo in disguise.

Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, joined the custom of actors who have meandered a convention floor in a cover to enable them to stay unknown. For this situation, the Avengers actor was spruced up as Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls, finish with a mask and a fez.

The DC and Marvel actors didn’t wind up battling, but embracing. Still however, it was most likely best not to make them angry.

Momoa’s performance as Aquaman hits theaters in the solo film Dec. 21. Ruffalo will be in the forthcoming, still untitled, fourth Avengers film due out in 2019.
