Game Of Thrones and Aquaman star Jason Momoa put his archery abilities to the test in one hilarious sketch on The Late Late Show with James Corden, wherein host James Corden desperately tried a lot to compete with Momoa while they went on doing activities that Momoa likes to do and mind you, this is Jason Momoa we are talking about and his activities will always have a dangerous edge to them.
A day with the Aquaman star consisted of trying out a few of Momoa’s hobbies which involved riding bikes, whips and arrows. After a trip on some Mad Max-looking classic bikes, Corden finally opted to sit down in Momoa’s sidecar, and the pair went to a park to practise some archery, an exercise Momoa mentioned he enjoys along with his spouse, Lisa Bonet.
To Corden’s shock, the Game of Thrones star is a talented archer and really practices with spouse Lisa Bonet. “I’ve never felt like less of a man,” Corden admitted. “You’re throwing Tomahawks and I’m literally watching The Bake Off.”
To actually show his talents, Momoa insisted on using an arrow to shoot an Apple off of Corden’s head and to make it more challenging, he decided to do it blindfolded. “There’s no reason for this,” the host stated anxiously. “I already think you’re amazing!”
But as soon as Momoa put his blindfold on, Corden pulled off an elaborate switcheroo. The funnyman rapidly swapped locations with a boxing dummy and it was the crucial factor that saved his life as the arrow went through the dummy’s head!.
“I’d be dead!” Corden screamed. “That would have been in my face!”
Noticing that the actor was upset that he didn’t believe in Momoa’s archery skills, Corden clarified by putting things into perspective. “Well, however much that hurts,” he stated motioning to Momoa then to the dummy, “That would have hurt a lot more.”
