“We are thrilled to welcome Netflix back to southwestern Pennsylvania, and we can’t wait for them to get started,” said Dawn Keezer, director of the Pittsburgh Film Office. “It will be sometime later in November, and they will be here into the new year, as well.”
The actor of “Aquaman” will produce and star in the story of “a husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while also protecting his daughter,” according to “Variety.” Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson of ASAP Entertainment will also produce and Martin Kistler will executive produce. The script is by Gregg Hurwitz and Philip Eisner.
“When we first read this script, we knew there was only one actor who could bring the gravitas and depth to the role of Cooper, and that’s Jason,” Fierson told “Variety.”
“I’m excited to partner with Netflix once again,” Momoa said, calling his collaborators a “dream team.”
