Back when Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet initially met in 2005 at a jazz club in New York City through mutual companions, the Aquaman now as we know him got promptly love struck.
“We just happened to be in the right place at the right time,” he told James Corden on the Late Late Show last year. “I actually had dreaded my hair for her. I had dreadlocks, she had dreadlocks. I literally turned around and I see her and she goes, ‘I’m Lisa.’ I turned around to my friend and I [pretended to scream]. I had f—ing fireworks going off inside, man. I convinced her to take me home, because I was living in a hotel.”
The two wound up at a bar a while later, where Momoa’s feelings were responded to by her order of drinks.
“We sat down, she ordered a Guinness, and that was it,” he said. “I beyond love Guinness. We had Guinness and grits, and the rest is history.”
That history currently incorporates a 13-year relationship and two children — little girl Lola Iolani, 11, and child Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, 9. The two likewise at long last got married in October 2017 at a small romantic and personal ceremony at their home.
