Jason Momoa and spouse Lisa Bonet’s ex, Lenny Kravitz, are unmistakably buddies! The Aquaman actor posted a black-and-white photograph of himself and Kravitz on Instagram, sharing that he got an extremely exceptional present for the Fly Away artist — a skull-shaped ring. Momoa additionally got one, which he gladly shows alongside Kravitz.
Bonet has kids with both Momoa and Kravitz, so it’s not difficult to envision the two performers haven’t been in one another’s lives for quite a while. But this level of camaraderie is genuinely touching.
Recently, when Momoa was on Saturday Night Live, Momoa repeated his Game of Thrones role, Khal Drogo, for a talk show-style sketch where Kenan Thompson interviews other dead characters from the show.
This allowed Beck Bennett to present his absolute best Hodor impression while Kate McKinnon was spot-on as King Joffrey, borrowing a few classic lines from Danielle Bregoli’s (aka Bhad Bhabie) visit to Dr. Phil.
But Momoa got in a couple of incredible lines of his own! In spite of the fact that she hasn’t died yet on the show, Brienne of Tarth (Heidi Gardner) came by and Khal immediately offered to fight her, trusting she was a man.
“Man? Wow, you have a lot to learn about identity politics,” Brienne rebuked him. This provoked Khal to offer an apology, nodding to Kevin Hart’s whirlwind hiring and departure from the Oscars amid controversy. “You’re right,” Drogo replied, explaining that he needs to learn from his mistakes if he ever wants to host the Academy Awards.
