President Donald Trump spoke at length about the partial government shutdown, tensions on the Korea peninsula and stock market swings. But it was a “Game of Thrones“-style poster featuring Trump that was placed on a table in the Cabinet Room that lit up social media.
“Sanctions are coming,” the poster read, a riff on the “winter is coming” embraced in the hit HBO show, Game Of Thrones.
Donald Trump first used it in early November, when he tweeted an image.

HBO pushed back on the use of the image at the time.
“How do you say trademark misuse in Dothraki?” the cable network tweeted, referring to the fictional language used in the series.

Trump’s use of the poster is projected to highlight his administration’s plans to reimpose sanctions on Iranian individuals and entities. It wasn’t instantly clear why the poster was placed on the table in front of the president during the Cabinet meeting.
In addition to this Trump has recently posted another picture based on the same line from Game Of Thrones
Fans were quick to point out that toward the end of Game Of Thrones season 7 the Wall protecting Westeros from the White Walkers and their army got destroyed — and the army of the dead entered Westeros very easily.
Please tell trump( i cant i blocked him) if gonna use game of thrones lines like “ the wall is coming” to watch season 7! Spoiler alert. The wall fails!
