Gwendoline Christie looks in no way like her Game of Thrones character any longer. Planning for her up and coming film, The Personal History of David Copperfield, set to debut in the start of 2020, Christie shared a photograph of her look and it’s completely different from the Brienne of Tarth who Game Of Thrones fans have been familiar with all these years.
Christie shared her new look with her fans with the caption: “Hi AND WELCOME TO JANE MURDSTONE.”
Fans quickly started commenting about her new look, not just saluting her on the forthcoming movie that is completely different from her previous venture but also appreciating her new look.
One fan remarked, “Ohhhh, so extraordinary yet so magnificent.”
Another one joked about her missing sword, “Hmm, something’s missing… perhaps a sword would complete this outfit?”
She was also crowned as a queen by some: “Oh yes my queen! ♥️♥️♥️.”
Christie has been catching everyone’s attention with her looks, especially the red carpet looks. Even at the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards, Christie made sure that everyone had their eyes on her.
Christie also spoke with Entertainment Weekly about her connection with Brienne of Tarth
“I really have fallen in love with the character,” Christie shared. “I’ve fallen in love with what she represents… She has a strong moral compass and a very deep sensitivity and vulnerability, and I felt she was a special and rare kind of character.”
The Personal History of David Copperfield will pursue the account of Copperfield, who is often times said to be based off Charles Dickens. It will be based of the Dickens tale from the 1950s.
Dev Patel will be playing the role of Copperfield. The comedy-drama is written and directed by Armando Iannucci, who was the Veep showrunner from 2012-2015.
