Numerous Thrones fans have had been speculating about an April premiere date and it finally feels great to have a confirmation.
The teaser has no new scenes, yet it is fun and exciting to watch the remaining players where they are on the board for the last huge fights for Westeros.
“Every battle. Every betrayal. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every death. All #ForTheThrone,” the tweet mentioned, alongside a number of tweets for individual characters.

So far HBO has kept a particularly tight lid on the final season. That is reasonable, given that the last season of the show was pirated in excess of 1 billion times, with the debut alone being pirated 90 million times.
While Game of Thrones is about end, HBO’s not walking away from its most famous series. Casting has just started for the prequel series with Naomi Watts being cast in the lead role.
How excited are you right now?
