Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Last Christmas star Emilia Clarke does not love her expressive eyebrows as much as her adoring followers do.
In a brand new video from Vanity Fair, “Emilia Clarke Takes a Lie Detector Test,” the actress is asked a question about her facial characteristic that’s extremely popular with fans.
“A lot of fans say that your eyebrows have their own life. Would you agree with that statement?”
“Yeah, to the point where I hate it,” says Emilia.
She continues, saying when she watches herself again in a film she notices her eyebrows. Clarke added that she needed to “keep them in check” on “Game of Thrones” as a result of her character Daenerys Targaryen “never really got too pepped up about much.”
“But in life I find it deeply infuriating,” she mentioned.
Clarke then shared an anecdote a couple of time when she was at a physician’s workplace making an attempt to alter an appointment time. The receptionist began laughing while they were having a serious discussion.
“She’s like, ‘it’s just your eyebrows — I can’t look at them without laughing,’” Clarke mentioned.
Ever since Game of Thrones rocketed Clarke into fame, folks have observed how her eyebrows shift when she’s speaking, notably in candid interview settings. A fan had also created a video which was titled “Emilia Clarke’s eyebrows stabilised”.
During an episode of The Graham Norton Show, the host had Emilia Clarke and Cara Delevingne compete in an “eyebrow-off” to see who could control their eyebrows the best.
Just this year, the charity organization Omaze had Clarke shoot a video in which she spoke with her eyebrows in an invite to enter a contest for an opportunity to go to the Game of Thrones premiere.
So whereas Clarke’s eyebrows might be a reason of anxiety for the actress herself, her followers are unlikely to stop obsessing over them. Watch the entire video below:
