It’s been a while since Game of Thrones Season 7 wrapped up and now we are sitting tight for next season. Season 7 was loaded up with numerous reunions ranging from the Stark children to everybody in the Dragon pit. In any case, there are numerous reunions left in the show and we will see them in Season 8.
Here are the top 7 reunions you have to watch out for, in Game of Thrones Season 8.
1. Arya Stark and the Hound
It will be an amusing to see them meet after the way that they had parted ways. They’re set to meet when The Hound comes to Winterfell to battle The Night King. In Season 7, when Brienne let him know that Arya was as yet alive, you could see he was glad.
Arya will be shocked to see that the man she left out to bite the dust is still alive and kicking. The Hound will also love how better Arya has gotten at fighting. She is presently surprisingly better than Brienne and The Hound himself.
Arya and The Hound both experienced an intense time together, which developed the two characters greatly, and we expect there to be a begrudging respect between the two when they reunite.
2. Arya Stark and Jon Snow
Jon and Arya’s connection is close from Season 1 itself. He comprehends Arya and her aspirations and he is the one that giver her Needle, her sword. They were close before they left Winterfell.
They are the most gifted individuals from House Stark with a Sword and their abilities enhanced with genuine encounters. Arya stills appreciate Jon as we have seen it in Season 7. Jon will get awed with how better she has gotten with fighting, as well.
Arya will be a key player in helping Jon against The Night King. He’ll oppose at first, however Arya’s diligence will constrain him to give in and let her battle. We need to sit tight for one year or more to see this astonishing get-together.
3. Arya Stark and Gendry
The Stark young ladies have been unfortunate in the pursuit of love. Yet, while Sansa’s affection life has been horrendous, Arya’s has been non-existent. With Gendry back on the table, there’s a good chance we will finally see Arya get some romance, that is if we get any time from all the ice and fire around.
You know, if they’re into that kind of a thing. The two were so close up at one point that in Season 3 Arya offered to be the Gendry’s “family.” The show tore Gendry away from her side too early, and a reunion is way past overdue.
4. Bran Stark and Jon Snow
A ton will happen when these two characters will meet in Season 8. Bran has heaps of things in his mind that he will need to tell Jon. He will be the person who will educate Jon concerning his parentage and his name (Aegon Targaryen). Sam and Bran both will demonstrate that Jon is the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne.
Their Reunion will change the course of the show.
5. Cersei Lannister and Sansa Stark
We know Cersei used to think Sansa was behind Joffrey’s demise. She held it against Sansa for a long time, too. Presently Cersei knows it was Olenna Tyrell who was behind it, so we aren’t aware how that changes her feelings towards Sansa. This two will possibly cross paths, in Season 8, and it will be cumbersome.
Prior this season Jon said Sansa sounds like she appreciates Cersei. Sansa answered that she has learnt a great deal from Cersei, and her execution of Baelish demonstrates precisely that. Expect both of them to plot against each other in Season 8, as Sansa sets more into being the northern reflection of Cersei herself, albeit being on the good side of the fight.
6. Jaime Lannister and Bran Stark
Jaime was the person who knocked Bran out of the window in Season 1 and Game of Thrones really. In this long trip, Bran and Jaime both have changed a considerable measure.
In the last scene we saw that Jaime left Cersei and now he moves towards Winterfell to Join the fight against Night King. There he will meet Bran and will very likely, apologize and ask Bran for forgiveness. Bran will see Jaime as the changed man that he is now. Best of the bunch will be this reunion.
7. Daenerys Targaryen and Viserion
The Night King murdered and raised Viserion as a wight dragon in Season 7. It will be interesting to see how Daenerys will respond when she sees the Night King has restored her dead child Viserion for his own sinister use.
We might get to see Daenerys try and murder Viserion, and we figure Drogon will be one to bring Viserion down. So, all in all, this is going to be a very interesting reunion.
